Container Repairs

     According to the International Convention on Container Safety,new containers must undergo internal container inspection within 24 months after leaving the factory,box inspection at 5 years,and inspection every 30 months thereafter.Therefore,the container management department of the shipping company must plan and organize the implementation of all containers within the company,carry out maintenance work,and ensure that the containers meet the requirements of CSC regulations.

     In addition,containers often have many defects during transportation,loading and unloading,handling,and storage due to various reasons.The defects of containers can be divided into damage,natural wear and tear,and unreasonable maintenance.Damaging refers to the physical defects of a single or multiple container caused by a single or multiple event such as impact,wear and tear,and pollution.Natural damage refers to the physical defects of a single or multiple container when used in the main hall,such as being exposed to seawater during sea navigation,One or more physical defects caused by continuous consumption and wear:Unreasonable repair refers to the repair of damaged containers that has not been carried out in accordance with the repair methods recommended by the International Association of Container Owners(IICL).For those that require repair under the IICI inspection standards,the repair estimate should be submitted to the shipping company for approval in a timely manner according to the requirements of the shipping company.If the shipping company finds that the box is damaged,it is necessary to conduct a joint inspection or terminate the lease,If the total loss is further handled,the storage yard should make further arrangements according to the shipping company's requirements for container cargo in the future.When repairing the container,it should be carried out according to the shipping company's requirements for container cargo,combined with C's inspection standards and recommended repair methods.The repaired boxes should be returned to their original position and changed from a bad box state to a good box state to indicate that the box has been repaired and can be put out.
