The national railway freight volume reached a new historical high in January, with strong growth in electricity and coal transportation volume

    The reporter learned from China National Railway Group Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as China Railway Group)that in January,the national railway freight volume reached a new historical high,with 324 million tons of goods shipped,an increase of 34.1 million tons year-on-year,or 11.8%;The daily average loading was 173000 vehicles,an increase of 19400 vehicles year-on-year or 12.7%.Among them,the growth of electric coal transportation is strong,with a completed transportation volume of 120 million tons,a year-on-year increase of 23%,providing reliable transportation guarantee for the stable operation of the national economy and the warm winter for the people.

     The head of the freight department of China Railway Group introduced that China Railway Group has conscientiously implemented the deployment requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council to ensure energy supply and ensure warm winters for the masses.It has fully utilized the increasing transportation capacity of new railway lines and the freight capacity released by the increasingly dense"eight vertical and eight horizontal"high-speed railway network,deeply promoting the increment of freight operations,vigorously implementing the policy of supplementing passengers with goods,and striving to promote the increase of transportation and income.

     The person in charge introduced that in January,China Railway Group organized various units to increase the organization of coal,especially electric coal transportation,and daily monitored the inventory situation of railway direct supply power plants.For power plants with inventory less than 7 days,the emergency supply mechanism for electric coal was activated in a timely manner,and the transportation capacity was concentrated to implement surprise transportation.The overall transportation volume of main coal transportation channels was achieved,and the number of days for coal storage in 350 railway direct supply power plants nationwide remained stable at over 13 days.China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Company focuses on the heavy haul coal transportation channels of Daqin and Wari,focusing on the transportation of Shanxi coal.The transportation volume of the Daqin and Wari lines increased by 18.3%and 30.7%year-on-year,respectively;China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Co.,Ltd.utilized the Tangbao coal transportation heavy haul channel to focus on the Mengxi coal rail sea intermodal transportation.The transportation volume of the Tangbao line increased by 64.3%year-on-year;China Railway Xi'an and Wuhan Bureau Group Company has accelerated the construction of the Haoji Line collection and distribution system,actively organized direct outbound transportation of Shaanxi coal,and the transportation volume of the Haoji Line has increased by 86%year-on-year.

    The person in charge introduced that in January,China Railway Group further strengthened the organization of international container intermodal transportation,open top container direct transportation,and special container dedicated transportation,optimized the allocation of container sources,improved utilization efficiency,and steadily improved the level of container loading.The national railway container loading completed an average of 35000 vehicles per day,a year-on-year increase of 42.6%;Actively connecting with supply and demand enterprises,signing tripartite agreements for coal production and transportation,with a transportation volume of 950 million tons,an increase of 44.4 million tons year-on-year,or 4.9%.
