Land Transportion
Land transportation mainly refers to railway transportation and road transportation.Especially when the place of origin or destination of goods is not a port,unless air transportation is used,domestic railway transportation or a combination of domestic road transportation and ocean transportation are generally adopted.
1.International railway freight intermodal transportation
International railway freight intermodal transport refers to the use of a unified international intermodal transport document,with the railway department responsible for the entire transportation of goods through two or more countries'railways.When the railway authorities of one country transfer goods to another country,the shipper and consignee do not need to participate.International railway freight intermodal transport is usually based on the Convention on the International Carriage of Goods by Rail or the International Railway Freight Intermodal Transport Agreement.Most of China's import and export goods to North Korea and Russia are transported through international railway intermodal transportation.The documents for international railway freight intermodal transportation mainly include the original and copy of the railway waybill.
Under international railway freight intermodal transportation,the transportation cost of the sending country's railway is calculated based on the domestic freight rate of the sending country's railway;The transportation cost of the arriving country railway shall be calculated based on the domestic freight rate of the arriving country railway;The transportation cost of railways in transit countries shall be calculated in accordance with the provisions of the Uniform Transit Tariff Regulations(Uniform Freight Prices)of the International Railway Intermodal Transport Agreement.
2.Railway transportation to Hong Kong
The railway transportation to Hong Kong consists of two parts:internal section transportation and port section transportation.The materials supplied to Hong Kong and Macao are transported by railway to Shenzhen as part of the inland railway transportation;After the truck arrives in Shenzhen,it needs to cross the tracks to Hong Kong and continue to be transported to Kowloon Station,which is a railway transportation section in Hong Kong.Overseas transportation branches in various regions provide the shipping unit with the"carrier goods receipt"for the transit through Shenzhen to Hong Kong as the transportation carrier,and use it as a proof of foreign exchange settlement with the bank.
The cost of railway transportation to Hong Kong is calculated separately based on the railway transportation of the inner section and the railway transportation of the port section.The inland section is calculated in RMB,and the port section is calculated in Hong Kong dollars.The inland freight includes railway freight,Shenzhen rail rental fees,and Shenzhen outward transportation company labor fees.Port freight includes railway freight,terminal unloading fees,port shunting fees,and labor fees.
